Kerry Education and Training Board (Kerry ETB) recently hosted its annual Retirement Event on Thursday, June 15th, 2022, to welcome back their retirees from 2022 and pay tribute to their collective dedication to our shared organisation.
The retirement function is an annual highlight for Kerry ETB, providing an opportunity to recognise the remarkable work and contributions of retiring staff members. The event boasted the attendance of 16 retirees from across the organisation’s three pillars, Schools, Youth and Music Pillar, FET (Further Education and Training), and Organisation Support and Development.
During the event, An Cathaoirleach of Kerry ETB, Cllr. Jim Finucane expressed gratitude for the retirees’ dedication, creativity, and unwavering commitment throughout their tenure with the organisation. Their hard work and team spirit were acknowledged, and it was an honour to meet them, along with their families, friends, and former colleagues.
The event was attended by the celebrated retirees, along with their families and friends. They were also joined by members of the Kerry ETB Board, the senior management team (current and former) and staff from the head office’s Executive Support Unit.
Thanks are shared with all those involved in the arrangements for the evening.
