Kerry LCYP and Shanakill FRC hosted a design event that will had real world results. Participants came together to create the logo for the upcoming Tralee Irish Language Plan; An Gaeilge I Trá Lí, go hiontach! No design experience was necessary, just good ideas, a willingness to learn, and basic computer literacy. Our young designers learnt the importance of a brand mark and being a part of Kerry’s newest emerging cultural milestone. The logo is now hanging proudly on the wall in the Chief Whip’s office in Government Buildings, office of Seán Kyne T.D. – Government Chief Whip and Aire don Ghaeilge, don Ghaeltacht agus do na hOileáin, 2019 (see below).
