The Dingle FET Centre is situated in the heart of Dingle Town, and since opening in 2017 has been delivering accredited and non-accredited courses to adults in the West Kerry area. Courses on offer are from a wide range of disciplines such as Healthcare, Information Technology, Archaeology, Horticulture, Arts and Crafts, and are delivered on a part-time basis to enable learners to further their knowledge and skills at a pace that suits their individual lifestyles and schedules.
Healthcare Support L5 is one of the core programmes in which we offer a major award and a wide range of other accredited single subjects are also delivered from QQI Levels 1-6. A variety of non-accredited courses are also scheduled every term, and these are designed for those who want to develop a new skill and meet new people while furthering their knowledge in a specific area of interest. We also offer workshops for business and sustainable living.
The Dingle FET Centre promotes lifelong learning and strives to meet evolving individual and community needs through quality, accessible education. Courses are delivered in a friendly, supportive environment that encourages and inspires adults to continue expanding their knowledge and skills.
This project is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union, Employment, Inclusion, Skills and Training Programme 2021-2027
