Kenmare Further Education and Training Centre

The Kenmare Further Education & Training Centre situated on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Kenmare provides nationally mandated (QQI Levels 1 – 6) within the Further Education and Training sector. The Centre offers Major Awards (QQI Level 4 – 6) in Employment Skills: Business Tourism & ICT; Healthcare: Childcare: Horticulture: Art: Professional Cookery and a Commis Chef Apprenticeship, which is run in the State of the Art Culinary training facility.

In addition, this FET Centre offers Certified single subject topics like: Bookkeeping, Payroll, Spreadsheets, Web Design, Drawing, Painting & Pottery. Non-certified (‘self-financing’) courses and workshops include topics like: Raku, Batik, Silk Painting, Homeopathy, Word Press, Nutrition, Google Analytics, First Aid Refresher, Botanic illustration & Gardening.

This Centre also boasts a fully-certified organic garden and has an Adult Literacy & Basic Education Service based at the Centre also.
