An art work inspired by the built environment of Killarney as part of the Architecture Kerry festival. It is a child-led artwork reflecting the town in a series of line drawings that are joyful, imaginative and fun. Over a series of creative workshops, the children had time to reflect, ask questions and further explore the environment around them. A Kerry Local Creative Youth Partnership project for Architecture Kerry facilitated by artist David Fortune, of Me and The Moon. The project is funded by Creative Ireland and the Department of Education through Kerry ETB and Kerry County Council. “We are delighted to see young people feature in the Architecture Kerry programme with such wonderful ideas about their townscape and the world around them”, stated Victoria McCarthy, Festival Organiser and Architectural Conservation Officer, at Kerry County Council.
